Maternity NYE Look

I hope everyone had a wonderful few days this past week getting to spend it with your family and friends.  This one for myself was even more special because my husband and I got a ton of cute gifts for Sofia Everly, and one particular outfit totally made me cry!! The next few days my husband and I will packing to get ready to head to Atlanta to see the University of Houston play in the Peachbowl..we seriously can not wait!! Any one that knows us understands the addiction to UH football.  Go Coogs!!!img_6482 New Year’s Eve is always a great reason to get all dolled up in your best outfit and take on the town.  This year we will be celebrating at our hotel’s NYE’s Party that is sure to be a blast.  When thinking about what I wanted to wear this New Year, I couldn’t help but always lean towards a bodycon dress.  I know I have talked about this style in a recent post, but I really can’t get enough of them.  With my baby bump in full display I want to completely show it off.

I can honestly say that I love being pregnant and all the factors that have come with it.  Even with a rough first trimester, everything since that has gone so smooth, and I get extremely excited for the changes that happen.

I got this dress at Marshall’s last year for $15 and I couldn’t believe how much of a steal it was.  Not only is the color beautiful, but it is a great length for my tall frame and has a slight cutout detail in the back which I absolutely love.  In order to pump up the look I paired it with a Charming Charlie necklace and bracelets, and one of my favorite Burdlife earrings.  For the heels I decided to go away from the wine/pink color concept and add a pop of leopard..always a fun addition.

All Black & Fur

Black is one of those colors that will never go out of style.  No matter what the event, it is always my go to because it is just so easy. I mean, every single person has black in their closet right??

The monochrome concept is one of the most flattering that it just cant be beaten.  It is a win win, and is the perfect chic look.  For this look I decided to pair it with this fab fur vest I found at Marshall’s last year.  Not only does it compliment the black, but I especially love the length since I am a tall girl.

Since I decided to not go with a long dainty necklace for this look, I wanted to make my outfit slightly pop with this silver embellished bracelet that I have had for a few years from Charming Charlie.

Holiday Red

There are only 4 days left to Christmas and the little girl in me is rearing to go.  I think Christmas time is so magical; from the twinkling lights on homes and streets, the music generating from stores and radio stations, the colors of red, white, silver and gold, and of course the immense feeling of love that is generated from people.

Red is and will always be my favorite color for the holiday season.  It has such a vibrant pantone that gives me an extra reason to dress up for the season. 🙂  During my birthday this year I did a little shopping at H&M and found this great dress for only $19.99; what a steal!!!  I loved the way the dress fit my pregnancy belly perfectly with its drawstring twisted tassel ties, and it’s sweet plumeti chiffon fabric.

By the way, how cute is this initial ornament from Charming Charlie?  Such a great last minute stocking stuffer idea and it is currently on sale!!

As I end this post, I just want to thank all of you for your love and support this past year as I started my blogger journey.  I have met so many amazing people, been given so many opportunities and partnerships that I couldn’t be more thankful!!

Happy Holidays!!!
