Gingham Dress

Made famous in the 50’s and 60’s thanks to style icons like Audrey Hepburn and Bridget Bardot, the gingham dress is a print that brings a preppy-ness to any outfit.  I love this blue gingham cami dress from Old Navy in particular.

The A-line silhouette brings out any shape to a woman and fit me like a glove.  Currently Old Navy has their Thank You event where cardholders get 40% off or non-cardholders get 30% off all items at check out.  I always have a problem of adding multiple items in my cart. 😀

I love the super spring-y style that this look brings.  If I could go on a picnic, do some touring around a city, or just have brunch with the girls, I would definitely choose this outfit.  With our Houston Spring being more like Summer, it is a perfect lightweight dress that makes you stay cool even in the 80+ degree heat.

Now let’s talk about this multi-use bag that I got from Charming Charlie.  When I am running around with Sofia there is always ten million items that I need to bring with me, so having a handbag that has multiple compartments and removable bags is a totally plus.
